4. D’BANJ
Known as the Koko master, D’banj portrays the image of the ideal ladies’ man.
Coming into Nigeria with Don jazzy to begin a musical career, they have been able to make a name for themselves in the Nigerian Music and Entertainment scene.
With only two albums released, D banj and Don Jazzy have been able to make Mo’ hit records a reputable force in Nigeria. Ever since the Mr Endowed remix with American rapper Snoop Dogg, D banj has been gaining more international exposure.
D’ banj and Don Jazzy are currently signed to GOOD music owned by Kanye West and it has been rumoured that D banj and Don Jazzy are to introduce the famous American cult The Illuminati into Nigeria.
D banj has also won numerous awards including the KORA, MTV BASE, MOBO, City people and numerous others. His new single Oliver twist in which he confesses to love some female celebrities like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Omotola and Genevieve is making waves in Nigeria.
5. SUNNY NNEJI
Our Fifth selection as the most consistent musician in Nigeria, Sunny Nneji is a melodious singer and focuses on the highlife genre.
He has been in the music industry for over 10 years and has produced monster hits including Mr Fantastic, Tolo-tolo, Oruka, Ojoro and a host of others.
The cross river state born musician is respected for his ability to still stay fresh and emerge with any new trend in the Nigerian music industry.
