I bet you didn’t know that popular comedian Bright Okpocha
aka Basket Mouth started his venture into the Nigerian entertainment industry
as a rapper but opted for comedy when the latter became lucrative. It seems the
recent removal of fuel subsidy by the Nigerian government which had a negative
economic impact on most of the Nigerian population has made Basket mouth go
back to his first love (rapping) which he now does alongside
comedy as a way of
cushioning the economic hardship in the country. The comedian recently
collaborated with Eldee and Wizkid on a song titled “Where u de?” There are
also plans for Basket mouth to release a musical album later in the year with
his long time rap partner Steelz together known as Oddz.
