FUNKE AKINDELE TO PREMIER THE RETURN OF JENIFA OCTOBER 7th
After a successful premier in New York and Chicago, veteran
Nollywood actress Funke Akindele will be premiering her new movie THE RETURN OF
JENIFA in Nigerian cinemas on October 7th. The new Nigerian film is
a continuation of the popular and funny Yoruba movie JENIFA 1 & 2 which was
made popular because of the new slangs “Yelz, gbo gbo bigz boys and bigz girls”
which was introduced into the contemporary Nigerian English and Yoruba
languages through the movie. Popular Nigerian Entertainer/ presenter Denrenle
also starred in Jenifa 2.
The story was written and produced by Funke Akindele who
featured as Jenifa the wannabe big girl who got everyone laughing at her funny
lifestyle and accent.
